As Whitewater Group continues to expand internationally across multiple markets, we are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of complex electrical systems across modular building and critical infrastructure projects in Finland.
This role will play a key part in overseeing the installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems within modular buildings, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards. Working closely with project managers, subcontractors, clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary engineering teams, the successful candidate will support the delivery of electrical works including power distribution, small power, internal and emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, panels, data and communications systems, and the electrical integration of mechanical plant and equipment.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented, and technically capable Electrical Engineer with experience in modular building projects and full-scope electrical systems. Your profile
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Experience with modular building projects and full-scope electrical systems.
- Knowledge of ITP management, quality control, and inspection processes.
- Strong subcontractor coordination and programming skills.
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to build productive relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Strong conflict resolution and client expectation management skills.
- Fluent in Finnish and English.
- Electrical Safety 6001 certification.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee above- and below-ground tank connections and associated systems.
- Monitor the installation of mechanical BAS connections, leak detection, cathodic protection, and secondary containment systems, where applicable.
- Support modular building fit-out activities, including electrical connections, small power, fire alarm systems, panels, and testing.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of modular HVAC systems.
- Supervise the installation of power distribution, internal and emergency lighting, fire alarm, data, and communications systems.
- Assist with the electrical integration of mechanical plant and equipment.
