About the Role

We are looking for Mechanical Package Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be based at our Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM) Facility in Ballyhale, Ireland, playing a key role in the design and delivery of structural solutions for innovative modular construction projects. The role involves the design of structural systems, preparing and reviewing structural analysis and design calculations, assisting with the production of conceptual and detailed design drawings, and carrying out regular site visits to ensure construction is executed in accordance with the approved design. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects across Europe while contributing to the delivery of cutting-edge off-site manufacturing solutions.

Your profile

  • Proven experience in Modular / Off-Site (OSM) Construction or complex infrastructure projects.
  • Strong Mechanical Engineering background with a degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical construction and engineering delivery.
  • Manage the full Mechanical Scope of Works from design through procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning and project handover.
  • Oversee the complete construction lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery from project start to completion.
  • Coordinate procurement activities, project programming and mechanical subcontractors to achieve programme milestones.
  • Manage mechanical installation works, including Process Piping, HVAC, Heating and Cooling Systems.
  • Conduct walkdowns, snagging activities and ensure timely close-out of defects.
  • Prepare and manage technical documentation, reporting, QA/QC records, inspections, testing and commissioning documentation (including Green Tag where applicable).
  • Monitor package budgets, forecasts, variations and overall commercial performance.
  • Coordinate interfaces between mechanical, electrical and civil disciplines.
  • Drive Health & Safety compliance and promote a strong safety culture across all project activities.
  • Produce clear progress reports, identify risks and implement mitigation plans for senior management.
  • Experience managing multiple work packages or concurrent project workstreams.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
  • Highly organised, proactive and delivery-focused, with a systems-thinking mindset.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-site project environments.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight across all modular build packages.
  • Ensure alignment with project objectives, schedules, and budgets.
  • Monitor progress and proactively identify risks and issues.
  • Lead daily progress updates across all modular packages.
  • Produce and issue weekly progress reports, highlighting: schedule status, key risks and mitigation actions, performance against milestones.
  • Work closely with on-the-ground Package Managers to: drive delivery performance, resolve issues and remove blockers.
  • Ensure alignment with overall project strategy.
  • Implement and enforce standardised processes across all modular builds.
  • Drive best-in-class delivery practices including build sequencing, quality assurance, documentation control.
  • Capture and apply lessons learned to improve future delivery.
  • Ensure all modular builds meet: required technical specifications, QA/QC standards, regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Work closely with QA/QC and HSE teams to maintain compliance.
  • Act as a key coordination point between Project Management, site teams, fabrication facilities and vendors and subcontractors.
  • Maintain clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders.
  • Undertake frequent travel to: Fabrication yards (OSM facilities) and Project sites
  • Provide hands-on support during critical phases: Build completion, pre-shipment readiness, Installation readiness
