About the Role

As Whitewater Group continues to expand internationally across multiple markets, we are seeking a Senior BIM professional to support the delivery of high-quality digital design coordination, technical BIM implementation, and multidisciplinary project execution across the business.
This role will play a key part in overseeing technical BIM delivery, model coordination, digital standards implementation, and project support throughout the design, construction, and handover phases. Working closely with BIM Managers, Project Managers, Design Leads, and multidisciplinary teams, the successful candidate will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of BIM models and digital workflows while supporting project teams in achieving efficient and coordinated project outcomes.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented BIM professional with strong technical expertise, advanced knowledge of BIM methodologies and digital delivery standards, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholders and disciplines. They will provide guidance and support to BIM Technicians and BIM Engineers, driving best practices, model quality, coordination efficiency, and the successful delivery of complex projects to the highest standards of technical excellence and operational performance.

Your profile

  • Degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit for BIM modelling and project documentation.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering BIM projects.
  • Experience leading team of BIM technicians. 
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD for 2D drafting and technical drawings
  • Experience using Revit, Autocad, Navisworks, ACC, Recap, Inventor, Twinmontion
  • Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required; Spanish language skills are highly desirable.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, coordination, and quality assurance of BIM models using Autodesk Revit and other project-specific authoring tools, ensuring compliance with project requirements, BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), industry standards, and company procedures.
  • Coordinate closely with design teams, project stakeholders, and BIM Managers to define project objectives, establish modelling strategies, and ensure effective BIM implementation throughout all project phases.
  • Review, validate, and approve discipline-specific models, drawings, schedules, and BIM deliverables, ensuring consistency, accuracy, constructability, and adherence to ISO 19650 information management principles.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to BIM Technicians and BIM Engineers, supporting their professional development and promoting BIM best practices across project teams.
  • Manage and maintain BIM standards, templates, shared parameters, content libraries, and digital resources to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality across multiple 
  • Lead multidisciplinary coordination activities, including clash detection, design reviews, constructability assessments, and model integration processes, facilitating the timely 
  • Drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of internal BIM initiatives, including Revit Templates, BIM Libraries, Digital Delivery Standards, P&ID Templates, automation workflows, and digital engineering solutions.
  • Oversee information management processes within Common Data Environments (CDEs), ensuring the controlled creation, review, approval, and exchange of project information in accordance with project and organisational requirements.
  • Experience using PROCORE as a project management and collaboration platform
  • Collaborate with BIM Managers, Project Managers, and technical discipline leads to identify opportunities for innovation, process optimisation, and enhanced digital delivery across the organisation.
  • Monitor BIM performance metrics, model quality standards, and project compliance requirements, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives where required.
  • Support project planning, resource allocation, and BIM execution strategies to ensure the successful delivery of project milestones, client requirements, and organisational objectives.
  • Promote a culture of digital excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning, contributing to the advancement of BIM capabilities and digital transformation initiatives within the organisation.
